Completed May 31, 2017 – all in May, beginning to end. Her armature was built and the preliminary work done at a craft show on the 6th, then set aside for lack of eyes. The bits and pieces (eyes, ears, upper and lower pelt) were made over the next coupla weeks, around other work, and the bulk of the assembly on the 27th and 28th during long role-playing games at a convention. And now she’s done!

She’s the first of her kind to acquire a name as well as a number, in honor of being life-sized but not quite full-grown. She has a home of her own now, but you can write to the Salamander to discuss construction of someone similar if none of the adoptable creatures squeak to you.
