Creature 11: Skrogg Kitten

Completed December 26, 2009, for a friend whose much-loved tabby cat was slowing down with age. The face came out well, but I discovered just how difficult body striping can be! This is not the original position of the figure; I didn’t get to it with a camera until two or three months after delivery, and its person had adjusted it beyond recovery.

Skrogg has a home, but you can write to the Salamander if you’d like to discuss the creation of someone similar for yourself – on an armature that will forgive a lot more moving around.
