Note the variety of braiding – three-strand on the spine and wings, and four-strand on the legs. Lesson learned on the feet: next time, run the toes off the corners of the magnets rather than along the top, so they don’t get so fat. The core stage was really depressing, and it took a lot of work to get the feet down to merely sort of big for the rest of the creature.
