First completed July 24, 2016, to build the small magnet mouse population. (This is the new model mouse: no more “mini-mousies” ’cuz they’ll all be this size.) From right to left, they’re in construction order: Northern and Southern Salt Marsh Harvest Mice, plus Die-Spot, Gray-Ears, Baldy, and Stripes Mouse.

Updated July 26 and 31, 2016, to build up the tails, first in the house mice, and then on third thought in the harvest mice. Tail surgery involved melting and trimming off the old wax and wool, weaving in additional wire, and restoring new flesh – while keeping the rump fur free of wax.

All of these little darlings have homes of their own now, but if none of their cousins elsewhere on the site squeak to you, you can write to the Salamander to discuss construction of a new mouse of your very own.
